GARDEN GAB & GARDENING TIPS
It seems to have been a weird winter, but we have seen many unusually sunny days in March. The temperature recently has been teasingly warm. Spring is just around the corner!
I know that you avid gardeners are just like me and can't wait for the snow to melt so we can get back in our gardens. If you feel the need to dabble in the dirt right away you can start your seeds indoors now and transplant them when frost has past. We sell everything you'll need - seed mix, trays, pellets, & organic seeds.
Summer flowering bulbs have arrived. Begonias and calla lilies can be potted now. We also carry dahlias, gladiolus, cannas and many other unusual varieties as well as old favourites. These bulbs are great for the garden or will equally delight you in large decorative containers with their abundant, colourful, long-lasting blooms. Please keep in mind that most of these bulbs need to be dug up and stored dry for the winter months.
