When contemplating a new or renovated landscape project, it is a good idea to begin with a scaled drawing that will enable you to better visualize the anticipated project. Our design staff can create blueprints, layouts and conceptual designs. If a large scale plan will be installed over a period of time, a design can be most helpful in allowing the client and installer to phase in the landscape in an orderly manner, to avoid disruption and unnecessary cost. This allows you, the client, to proceed with the project while staying in your financial 'comfort zone'.
Phase 1
Our designer meets with you at your site to:
measure property layout
discuss your specific needs & budget
discuss your preference as to style of landscaping and your initial ideas for the landscape plan
measure and record all elevations and take pertinent area measurements
Phase 2
Back at Meadowville, the measurements and design ideas become part of the initial layout and the design plan is begun.
Our designer meets again with you on-site to review the initial design plan. Measurements are double-checked for accuracy. We work with you to detail the design layout.
Phase 3
Our designer reviews the information and details gathered in Phase 2. Structures, surfaces and garden bed lines are drawn to scale. The
planting plan is completed based on your requests. We return to your site to check on any new
ideas or revisions to the preliminary plan. A walk-through is done
outdoors to visualize how the design will look when installed.
Phase 4
Final design revisions are completed at Meadowville. This includes elevation
details are added and the final design plan is mapped, reviewed and produced in colour. The Meadowville design plan is delivered to you. A last review of the design plan and any additional questions regarding the
plan or installation schedule are discussed and finalized.
